SCANIA trusts 400 truck per year to AUTOTRANS LOGISTICS
Scania, one of the European leaders in truck manufacturing, is changing its logistics scheme for its heavy truck exports to Tunisia and Morocco.
300 to 400 trucks a year, assembled on the site of Scania Production, in Angers, will embark on the Ro-Ro terminal of Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, located at Montoir in Bretagne. The inaugural loading took place on November 24th, 2016.
Mobilization of local actors
The manufacturer has thus entrusted the management of the exports of its trucks to the ports of destination to the logistician Autotrans which has relied on the maritime offer led by LD Seaplane, logistics provider of Airbus Group, whose base market is transportation Airbus elements produced in the Mediterranean basin. With this new organization, the Swedish manufacturer has favored the quality of service offered by the ro-ro terminal.
